05/11 - Pé de Chumbo is willing to take the title of Super Challenge
Having just arrived in Brazil after his victorious outcome in IFL last Saturday 03/11 Delson Pé-de-Chumbo is already making arrangements to participate in the openweight Submission tournament promoted by the Super Challenge Grappling on December 8. Pé-de-Chumbo arrived in Brazil this Monday and was enthusiastically speaking about the challenge of encountering the world’s greatest grapplers in Super Challenge. ‘I heard the rules are made to make submissions a priority and it will greatly benifit my game. I always fight to attack and I am inside all the time. This is exactly what I did in IFL and it’s what I am going to do in the Super Challenge’, points out the Jiu Jitsu Black Belt.
Speaking about the motivation to participate in the Super Challenge Grappling, the decision he made twenty days before the IFL event, Pé-de-Chumbo makes a professional’s assessment: ‘It will be the greatest openweight tournament ever held. All the participants announced to take place are the top fighters who will be well rested and entirely prepared to fight. I am content to be there and I will not miss this opportunity. I will be inside of everything. In fact it will be in part my preparation for the final IFL’, affirms Pé-de-Chumbo.
Super Challenge Grappling is taking place on December 8 in Athletico Paulistano Club, in Sao Paulo. Among the announced names of the fighters are World Grappling Champion Jeff Monson, ADCC 2007 Openweight Champion Robert Drysdale as well as ADCC 2007 Champions Fabrício Werdum and Demian Maia, Tarsys Humphreys and Jiu-Jitsu and Submission phenomenon Ronaldo Jacaré.
