26/10 - Super Challenge Grappling will be held in Paulistano
The event decorations will be in a Japanese style with a real size castle
The organizers of Super Challenge Grappling have just made a rental contract with a luxurious club Athletico Paulistano in the capital of Sao Paulo State for December 8th.
Besides being an elite place for an openweight Submission tournament in Sao Paulo the place of event will be decorated in a Japanese medieval style. “We want to make this Submission event with much glamour. We ordered from an X-9 Samba School Cenography Department a medieval Japanese castle with its guards and other surprising elements.
“The real size castle is supposed to be constructed at the Club entrance. Grapplers will have an impression of entering a temple to fight”, explains the promoter Mr. Paulo Vasconcellos, promising to release a special announcement in the coming days. Super Challenge Grappling will present 16 grapplers, eight Brazilians and eight foreigners, in an openweight Submission event. Robert Drysdale, Demian Maia, Fabrício Werdum, Jeff Monson e Ronaldo Jacaré are the participants’ names confirmed until now.
