West Promotion announces an Openweight Submission Tournament in December

Eleven months after Super Challenge, a great event of the Mixed Martial Arts ever held in the country, took place the West Promotion confirms an exclusive openweight Submission tournament to be held in December of this year. A total of sixteen fighters from Brazil and other countries will be invited to compete in the tournament in Sao Paulo, to elect the greatest Submission fighter of the present time. The winner will get an award of USD 15,000.

“We are preparing many surprises, including innovating rules to stimulate submissions. One of the greatest differentials of the event is the fact that the fighters will enter the tournament with 100% of their physical capacity since they will be fighting in an openweight competition”, explains the promoter Mr. Paulo Vasconcellos, who is going to Russia this week to personally invite a great fighter of that country. “We are promising good surprises for this new event”, confirms Mr. Vasconcellos.
