18/11 -Julia helps Werdum to forget Napão and Super Challenge (MAT)

Having a tough routine of his trainings for Super Challenge Grappling and his return to UFC, where he will encounter Gabriel Napão, Fabricio Werdum makes use of the holiday to visit his daughter Julia who was born twelve days ago in Porto Alegre. “She is very beautiful”, he told us being satisfied with his trainings in the new team. The people there are tri champions and I can’t find words to explain. This week Master Rafael paid special attention to his training in submission having in mind the coming date of Super Challenge. It was very cool. Shogun himself called me and told me he was recovering from the surgery on his knee and insisted on helping me in my fight with Napao”, said Fabricio.

Werdum expects a war during this coming second fight with Napao. “It is curious to point out that prior to our first fight in Jungle 1 both had had victory and needed to win to get an upgrade in their career. This time both have recently lost and need to win. Let him be defeated. I have been training a lot and I will not let it happen to myself”, confessed the new father. Fabricio will stay in Porto Alegre till Monday then he returns to Curitiba to proceed with the training for Super Challenge that is to take place on December 8, in Sao Paulo.
