17/11 -Jacaré Out of Super Challenge Grappling (MAT)

A bruise on his left arm prevented Ronaldo Jacare, Jiu Jitsu World Bi Champion from being on the card of Super Challenge Grappling, an event that will reunite sixteen fighters in their effort to take the award of USD 15000 (Fifteen thousand US dollars). “I hurt my arm while training here in the gym when touching the mat to support myself. It looked like Shogun’s bruise in Pride, just less serious”, tells Asle’s black belt who made some comments about his absence on the card.

This is life. This year wasn’t a year of competitions for me. But it was good to stay out of the stream to see who is really on my side. There were people calling me when I was fighting well winning different tournaments. This year I fought less and those people who used to call me a lot appeared to be less interested. This is life. There are bad things to bring good things into a person’s life”, confessed Jacare.

Super Challenge Grappling is confirmed for December 8, in a luxurious club Athletico Paulistano, in Sao Paulo. It will reunite 16 fighters from the whole world in the greatest openweight Submition event ever held. The names of some fighters are already confirmed on the card. They are  Demiam Maia, Fabrício Werdum, Robert Drysdale, as well as Jeff Monson, Delson Pe-de-Chumbo, Tarsys Humphreys and Ronaldo Jacare. The great Champion will get the main award of USD 15000 (Fifteen thousand US dollars) as well as a Katana from Rickson Gracie’s hands, the coordinator of the rules for the event.
